Too many potential variables for disaster. Theft, fraud, sovereign nations deciding to defend their FIAT, absence of or increased regulation. Not to mention that for every crypto, in most cases, the outstanding “tokens” are held by a small minority of people that can control the market. This is why the SEC requires major institutional/executive shareholders of equities to report large sales of stock. This is not the case with crypto, hence the massive, unpredictable price swings. An “investment” isn’t something that is solely focused on “hope” that new buyers will enter the market to drive up the price is a asset. That is what’s known as a pyramid scheme. (New investor capital is used to make past investor’s asset returns/value increase or be made whole).

Each man has his price, bob, and yours was pretty low ,, Hmm sad.
